Membership on the Crimson Ink mailing list is by invitation or application only.
In order to join, you must be eighteen years or older. We mean this seriously.
Members are required to participate at least once every three months. You need not be an author, but if you don't post stories of your own, you must join in the discussions and critiquing the fics of others. If you think you would just be a lurker, please do not apply for membership.
Please make sure you have read the rules before sending in your application.
A text version of this application can be found here.
If you wish to apply, please provide the following information:
1. The name by which you wish to be called (nick/pseudonym) and your e-mail address.
2. The url of a story you have written, if available. If you have a story which is not on the net, you may send it in the body of an email message. One chapter of a long fic is sufficient. If you are not an author, you may, instead of sending a story, submit a critique of a fic currently on the web.
Your answer may be as long as you like. While we do encourage artists to join the list as well, we are asking that only fics or critiques are submitted with the application.

In addition, please respond to the following questions:
1. Are you at least eighteen years old?
2. Do you understand and accept that subscription to the list will expose you to graphic descriptions of sex, and descriptions of romantic and sexual relations between males?
3. Have you read CIML's rules, mandates, and critiquing guidelines, and are you willing to follow them?
4. If an author, do you understand that any story you post to CIML is open for comment and critique and that all comments and critiques will be posted to the list?
Applications are continually processed. We will notify only applicants accepted, and they will be notified within two weeks (14 days) of the receipt of their application. ^_^
Applications may be handed in by email to zazreil@aol.com
Please put "Crimson Ink Application" in the subject line. All applications must be enclosed in the body of the e-mail or submitted as a text file (.txt) attachment, or they will not be processed.
