Main Characters are as follows:
Yukino Miyazawa: To her schoolmates, she is elegant, perfect, the beststudent and everyone wants to be just like this golden girl. At homehowever, she is sloppy, loud, the complete antithesis to her school image.She spends so much effort to keep up this facade that she does not havefriends or a social life.

Soichiro Arima: He also has his secrets. At first he is Yukino's rival because he is competition to be the best. He is handsome, and a goodstudent, etc. He has his own mask, including the fact that his true parentsabused him and he was taken in by his uncle and aunt, who he feels he must prove himself too. Yukino and Arima (for some reason, although her first name is used, his surname is always used)bond over the fact that they are so similar and become a couple.

Asaba Hideaki: The playboy. He is very good looking, and feels becauseArima is good looking that they could get more girls if they work as ateam. At first he tries to break up Arima and Yukino but after a while hebecomes good friends with both of them.

Tsukino and Kano Miyazawa: Yukino's sisters. They provide comedy relief,but are not major characters.

Shibahime Tsubasa: One of the friends Yukino makes when she becomes more confident. She is kawaii with a capital K and although she doesn't like the fact that she looks younger than she is, she is not above using her looks.

Ikeda Kazuma: Tsubasa's new stepbrother and a member of a band calledYinYang. He and Tsubasa get off on the wrong footing when he mistakes her for his cute new baby sister from elementary school.

There are more characters but they are not as important.

Synopsis:
Basically, Yukino has this image at school that she tries like hell to
maintain. Then Arima enrolls and she sees her position being threatened.
Despite that fact, she has a crush on him (who wouldn't?) One Sunday, he
stops by her house and drops off a Brahms cd (she told him she liked Brahms to appear more cultured) and he sees her in her sweats and gets slam kicked by Yukino, who mistakenly thinks that it was one of her sisters.

He knows who she really is and uses this information to blackmail her into
doing his homework for him. She finally feels used and tells him to go
ahead and tell everyone who she really is. He had no intention of doing it
anyway, he just wanted to spend time with her and lo and behold, they
become a couple.

There are mostly girls in this anime but there are slashable possibilties.

Slash possibilities:
Asaba/Arima: In one ep, Arima tells Yukino he "likes" Arima, but the wordhe uses (I'm sucky at Japanese) isn't quite the equivalent of passionatelove, but it is the same as when a guy tells a girl he LIKES her.

Arima/Asaba: Not possible. Asaba is definitely the seme type, Arima seems to be the type who wants to please. Heh heh.

Asaba/Ikeda: They don't seem to have any interaction in the eps I've seenbut I think it could be doable. Ikeda has that bad boy in a rock bandmentality and I think he'd be open to anything. Asaba seems to likeanything pretty.

Ikeda/Asaba: Nope. Ikeda is not the seme type.

Ikeda/Arima or Arima/Ikeda: While it would be visually pleasing I don't seeit happening. They'd both be hemming and hawing over their true feelingsand they'd never get around to it.

Unfortunately, I've seen NO slash at all written about this series, and
it's one of the few series where I can understand because the love story of
Yukino and Arima is one of the few I can stomach.
