Cowboy Bebop
contributed by Em

Characters:
Spike Speigel: A gang gun turned bounty hunter, Spike is the ultimate cool guy. Spike pretty much does what he wants, regardless of what ANYone else says, does, or thinks. He goes through life with what seems like an air of nonchalance, but he is very observant, quick, and extremely dangerous. It's not a good idea to piss Spike off. The three things Spike hates most are
kids, animals, and women with attitudes.

Jet Black: Once a member of the ISSP police force on his home... uh... moon?  Ganymede, Jet is now Spike's bounty hunting partner. He owns the spaceship  Bebop. Gruff and sometimes a bit confused, Jet is the stable figure on the Bebop.

Faye Valentine: Heh. Faye's so kool. Loud-mouthed, acid-tongued, sharpshooting, debt-ridden Faye winds up on the Bebop after a run-in, or two, with Spike and Jet. She does help them bring in bounties, and makes sure she gets her fair share of the money.

Ed: 13 year old computer genius, the hacker known as Radical Edward, a girl, mind, who bribes her way onto the Bebop when Faye promises to give her anything she wants in exchange for helping them. I swear Ed's bones are made of  rubber. Ed basically spends her time on the Bebop gleaning information from her computer.

Ein: A Welsh Corgi, worth about two wulons, Ein is too cute! He's also a datadog, meaning he's incredibly intelligent. You really have to pay attention to some of the things he does to see how smart he is, but the best example is when he does a hack job better and much faster than Ed, who's just thrilled to see it!

Vicious: Spike's ex-friend and partner in the Red Dragon Gang on Mars. Vicious has since turned against the Red Dragon Elders and is a terribly fascinating billion. He is cold, cruel, and would very much like Spike dead and out of his way.

Julia: A mysterious woman from Spike's past. Julia is only in two episodes, but her presence haunts Spike throughout the entire series. She and Spike were romantically involved at one time, and I still don't know who she was with first, Spike or Vicious, though I tend to think it was Vicious It's never really explained.

Gren: Mentioned even though he only shows up in two episodes, Gren was a soldier on Calisto. Vicious was his comrade; he gave Gren a small music box, which later caused Gren to be labeled a spy (for some reason I don't really remember too well...) and thrown in prison, where he became a test subject for experimental drugs. And the effect they've had on him is, to put it lightly, quite shocking.

Synopsis:
The story of a trio of bounty hunters, their bounty heads, tragic pasts, and the utterly poignant intricacies of living. Wasn't that poetic. Cowboy Bebop is my favorite show, and I'll say right now, I have never read a yaoi fic on it, and frankly I don't want to. It's possible to slash, I just wouldn't like to see much of it done. Otherwise, the show is often very humorous, and at the same time, incredibly sad. I've cried. And it has an amazing soundtrack!

Possible pairings:
SpikexVicious/ViciousxSpike: This is the reason I never want to read Cowboy Bebop yaoi. This pairing is entirely possibly. Well, except for the Julia matter.... Spike and Vicious were once very good friends, when they both worked side by side in the Red Dragon Gang. It's not quite clear, at least not the first time or two you watch the show, who was betrayed by whom or why Vicious really, really is not happy with Spike. As a past times pairing, though, this once could work well.

SpikexJet/JetxSpike: Well, it's possible. They're friends and partners on board the Bebop, but I still don't want to see it. ^__^

ViciousxGren: Ok, I got all excited thinking Vicious was going to show up at Gren's in episode 12 and they were going to have some sort of thing, because Gren clearly states to Faye that he is not interested in women. I was sorely disappointed! This is one pairing I want to see written about.

SemexUke from Episode 5 or 8, or some other episode entirely (yeah I forgot which it was; I'm leaning towards 8): This was hilarious! Blink and you'll miss yaoi in a totally hetero anime! Faye is following leads to tracking down the current bounty head, and I seriously think it's the big bounty head from epiosde 8. She bursts into a bedroom, gun cocked and ready to fire, and aims it at the bed wherein lies two men. A man on top of a man. She walks over to them, demands to know where the bounty head is. (I think she sticks her gun into the mouth of the guy on top, actually.) The guy on top is considerably smaller than the guy on the bottom, and I have no idea who's seme and who's uke. Not really important, just an amazing scene!
