First and foremost, you MUST be a member of Crimson Ink Mailing List to join the webring. Crimson Ink Mailing List is an application / invitation only mailing list for serious intermediate-to-advanced level writers. To find out more about joining Crimson Ink, please visit Crimson Ink

If you are already a Crimson Ink Member, to join / stay in the webring you must:

1. have a page that works in both Netscape and Internet Explorer

2. place and maintain the Crimson Ink Webring logo / HTML fragment somewhere easily viewable and accessible, otherwise you'll be breaking the ring.

3. have adequate warnings on any content that may not be suitable for minors or that may be offensive to some

** to add your HTML fragment and webring logo to your webpage, please follow these steps :) **

1. from the "join" page (https://crimson-ink.tripod.com/cimlring.html), check out the logos and choose one you like. save it by either right-clicking on a pc and chosing "save as" from the small popup menu, or on a mac, click and hold on the image until the menu appears and choose "save as." save it as whatever you like but make sure you remember the name! Upload this image to the space where your webpage is located.

2. if you haven't already done so, fill out the form! once you fill out the joining form and submit it, you should recieve an email that contains the HTML you need to put on your webpage. cut and paste this HTML to your webpage. this fragment includes instructions on how to add the image you saved from the join page! if you wish to have an image, please follow these instructions.

3. email me (lifestream@leafwind.com) once the fragment is up and let me know so I can add you to the ring! if your email is different than the one that is subscribed to Crimson Ink mailing list, please provide me with the email address that is subscribed so I can verify that you're a member.
